MANUREWA TOWN BOARD.
J ELECTION OF A MEMBER. . An election was held yesterday. to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Manurewa Town' Board, caused by the. retirement, owing to' ill-health, of Mr. F. E. White. The contest was a very, close one, the successful candidate, Mr. F. W. Wood, being returned by a majority of one vote only. The polling was as follows:— :: F. W.
