SUBMARINE CAMPAIGN.
A GERMAN REPORT. TWO TRANSPORTS SUNK. A. and N.Z. Cable. LONDON, Jan. 9. An official message from Berlin claims that a German submarine torpedoed and sank in the iEgean Sea on December 27 the convoyed French battleship Gaulois, in the Mediterranean on January 1 the Iverina, a fully-laden British trooptransport convoyed by destroyers; and on January 3 an armed and heavily-laden transport of 6000 tons.
Tho finking of the French battleship Gaulois and the British transport Iverina have already been officially reported. THE LATEST VICTIMS. United Service. LONDON, Jan. 9. The following are the latest victims of submarine attacks British steamer Lesbian, the Japanese steamer Chinto Maru, the French Alphonse Consul, and the Norwegian ship Borgesolm.
