NAVY LEAGUE FUND.
SUM OF £17.236 SUBSCRIBED.
PtßLic interest in the Navy League Fund is still being maintained, and £165 4s lOd was received yesterday by the treasurer. The Paparoa Patriotic League has contributed £56 10s 6d, this sum including £27 17s 6d from sale of stock. £11 2s 6d from G. K. Cliff. £9 5s 6d from J. K. Cliff, and £5 from Wilson Bros., Paparoa. Members of the Whangarei County Council forwarded £20. including £5 from Messrs. A. E. Phillips. J. A. Finlaysoi. Keaf Bros., and smaller sums amounting' to £5. The Tauranga Harbour Board has contributed £20 Os 6d to the fund, nnd £14 19s 6d was forwarded by members of the Masonic Lodge, Rotonia, per Mr. Gardner. Other sums were as follows Mrs. C. F. Buddie, sale table cloth. £12 10*: Kotorua County Council. £10 ; collected by A. Hisjeinson." Te Kuiti, £8 12s: smaller amounts, £22 12s 4d Total to date. £17,236 9s.
