PAYMENT OF THE WAR BONUS
[by telegraph. PßESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Asked as to the method to be adopted in regard to the payment of a war bonus to public servants, a subject that is arousing a great deal of interest in public service circles just now, the Minister for Finance to-night suited that the matter will come up for final settlement at a Cabinet meeting on Saturday next, and that an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
