THE COST OF LIVING.
At the monthly meeting of the Newmarket branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants last night the following resolution was unanimously passed "That this meeting supports the Canterbury branch in its recommendation that the Executive Council of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants be asked to attend the conference of waterside workers and coal-miners respecting the cost of living and increase of wages question."
