SIX MORE STEAMERS DESTROYED BY SUBMARINES.
FOUR BRITISH VESSELS ATTACKED WITH TORPEDOES.
NORWEGIAN STEAMER SUNK WITHOUT WARNING. (Received April 11, 11.10 p.m.) London, April 11. The sinking of four British steamers, a French trawler, and a Norwegian steamer by submarines is reported by Lloyd's. They were the British steamers Zafra, of 3578 tons, Glenalmond, of 2888 tons, Silksworth Hall, of 4777 tons, and Eastern City, of 4341 tons, the French trawler Yvonne, of 123 tons, and the Norwegian steamer Sjolyst, of 997 tons. The last-named was torpedoed -without warning north of Ushant.
The crews of the vessels have been landed.
