There was all that could be desired in the way of sensation in the programmo submitted by the management of the Lyrio Theatre last evening. There were largo audiences both at this and the West End Theatre. Keen interest was centred in the chief attraction, "The Children ol Eve." Incidents appertaining to the war were vividly shown by means of the " Gaumont Chronicle." KING'S THEATRE. " The Only Son," which takes premier place in the new series of pictures at the King's Theatre, may be described as one of the highest class of picture dramas. The intricacies of the plot and the excellent acting command the closest attention from beginning to end. Beautiful scenic studies are "Ancient and Modern Rome'' and the " Jungfrau Railway." The humorous element is supplied by " Fox Trot Finesse." KING GEORGE THEATRE. A drama entitled "The Opening Night' is now showing at the King George Theatre. The Chimney's Secret is an interesting film produced by the Victor Company. The only scenic film deals with the Grecian Navy. Several comic films are interspersed in the programme. PICTURE ENTERTAINMENTS. "The Only* Son," a drama of considerable length, will be screened at Everybody's Theatre for the last time to-day." "Tho Family Divided" is tho chief picture in the current programme at the Queen's Theatre. An adaptation of R. I). Blackmore's famous novel, " Lorna Doone," will be presented on Monday. "The Moonstone" will be screened at the Princess Theatre to-night. " The Face in the Moonlight." with Robert Warwick in the leading role, will be screened on Monday. " His Musical Career," at the Globe Theatre, features Charlie Chaplin.
