WAIHEKE LAND SALE.

OSTEND ESTATE SECTIONS. The auction sale of the sections in the Ostend Estate, fronting Putiki and Onetangi Bays, Waiheke Island, was held in the concert chamber of the Town Hall last evening by Messrs. Samuel Yaiie and Sons, Ltd. Mr. Geo. Savers, assisted by Mr. N. Somerfield, of the Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., were the auctioneers. There was a large attendance of buyers, and from the start the bidding was brisk. In all, 69 sections were disposed of, representing a total purchasemoney of £957 10s. The following are details of the sales :— 3 Putiki subdivision : Lot 72 £35 • lot 88 £32; lot 73 £31; lots 74 and 75, £27 each; lot 126, £21 10s: lot 89, £21; lot 87, £20; lots 86 and 186 £18 each; lots 119 and 128 £16 10s each; lots 82 and 84. £16 each; lots 1. 2, 83. 85, 117. 125, 183 and 185, £15 each; lot 81, £14 10s; lot 69. £13 10slot 9, £13: lots 71, 76 and 187 £12 each; lot 96. £11 ; lots 7, 10, 70 77 94. 95 and 209, £10 each; lots 118' 147 and 182, £9 each ; lot 146, £8; lot 148 £7 10s; lots 208 and 210, £5 each.
