TOTAL OF £15,570 RECEIVED.

StrescaiPTiojrs amounting to £127 10a were paid yesterday into the Herald Fund for sick and wounded soldiers and their dependants. This amount included a cheque for £100, forwarded by Major J. Whitney as a donation towards the provincial contribution of £4000 towards the cost of equipment for the hospital ship Marama.
