MR. MACKENZIE'S EVIDENCE.
London, September 16. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr. Thomas Mackenzie, gave evidence before a committee appointed to go into the question of land settlement for soldiers and sailors after the war. He outlined the* system of land settlement in vogue in New Zealand, and pointed out the possibilities of that country.
