HUNTLY-AWAROA RAILWAY.
The Huntly-Awaroa Railway -will be taken over from the Public Works Department by the Railway Department within the coming month. At present trains run as required to the junction at Mahuta station, where the trucks are taken by the locomotive of the Pukemiro Coal Company to the mine. Near the mine there is now quite a small township, and the erection of more cottages is anticipated.
