BRITISH WARSHIPS AGAIN BOMBARD ZEEBRUGGE.
ON WATCH FOR ESCAPING SUBMARINES.
HEAVY FIGHTING ALONG THE YSER FRONT
Amsterdam, April 2.
British warships for two hours bombarded Zeebrugge, owing to submarines attempting to steal through the minefield. They also shelled the aviation camp a mile from the town. German batteries spasmodically replied to the bombardment. Allied airmen dropped bombs and damaged the railway between Ghent and Dixmude. Heavy fighting continues along the Yser front, and many wounded are arriving at Ostend, Bruges, and Turnhout.
