GERMAN REINFORCEMENTS WEAKENING WESTERN LINE. (Received April 3, 2 a.m.) Rotterdam, April 2The pressure of the Russian operations is causing a demand for large German reinforcements, thus necessitating the weakening of the line in Flanders. The Germans are now attempting to extend their operatians on the Yser by destroying sluices, thus indicating that they are dealing with a purely defensive problem until their hoped-for success against Russia in the east enables them to resume the offensive in the west.
