WATCHMAN.
The stapes on the Middle Parallel reef. Watchman mine, Thames', produced the hulk of the ore last week. The rise on the East Parallel was up about 10ft, the reef being up to 3ft in width. It gave payable assays. The drive north on tho Windfall reel was in 43ft from th.' crosscut; the reef 'was of low value. DOMINION*. Good progress way made by the contractors last week in extending the low level crosscut at the Dominion mine, Karangahake. The face was advanced Bft. making a total of 1564 ft.
