MINERS RESENT FINES. By Telegraph.—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, November 14. The miners are restive over the Arbitration Court's imposition of heavy fines, amounting to £2500, on the Colliery Employees' Federation for aiding and abetting the strike at certain Maitland mines, in connection with the agitation against the afternoon shift. Developments are possible at an early date.
