Four tugs, manned by Dutchmen, and conveying a thousand tons of food, have reached the American Minister at Brussels, under the safe conduct of Von der Goltz, the German Governor of Brussels.
Eighty per cent, of the inhabitants of the country districts are existing on green vegetables.

Various Belgian relief committees and distinguished Belgians have guaranteed £600,000, which has been given to the commission for the relief of Belgium, but the distress is enormous.
