(Received August 16, 5.5 p.m.)
XISH, August 15. A general attack was made along the whole of the northern frontier of Scrvia by a force of 400.000 Austrians on Wednesday night.
The enemy was repulsed with considerable loss at Tectia, near the Roumanian frontier. Owing to their numerical superiority, the Austrians crossed the River Save near Shabats, west of Belgrade. They also forced a passage across the River Drina near Loznitsa, on the western frontier of Servia, but at this point their attack is still being resisted by the Servian forces.
