TAKAPUNA AFFAIRS.
The Takapuna Borough Council met on Wednesday evening. Present: The Mayor, Mr. W. Blomlield, and Messrs. R. S. H. Biss, H. L. Brett, J. Collins, E. E. Grimwado, A, E. Warnock, and Dr. Eullorton.
Tho Streets and Works Committee recommended that it was not desirable -to expend £10 10s at the present time for the services of a water diviner. After discussion it was decided to adhere to the council's previous decision.
