MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE.
ENGINE-DRIVER ACQUITTED/ [by telegraph.—tress association.] Dr/KEDDT, Wednesday. A railway engine-driver named David Alfred Dutton was acquitted at the Supreme Court to-day on a charge of mail' slaughter. Dutton was the driver of the engine which collided with another engine in the Dunedin. station yards some, time ago, resulting in the death of a fireman named Donovan.
