During the month of July, the Talisman Consolidated Gold Mining Company crushed and treated 4600 tons of ore for a yield of bullion valued at £21,151 Os 3d. The costa for the past month totalled 42s 6d per ton, mado up as follows:—Mine development, 14« Id ; mining, 14s 4d ; milling, 12s 2d; and general expenses, 13 lid. Compared with the return for the corresponding month of last year, the present return shows a decrease of £2188 5s sd. Tho ore tonnage treated in July, 1913, was 4020. The total amount of bullion won from the mine to date is £2,262,694 17s, as the following table of details shows: — £ a. d. Owing to tho war, tho amount of the dividend has been temporarily reduced; the usuai distribution is Is 9d per share. The dividend just declared will absorb £21,562 10s, and will bring the total dividends and bonuses declared since reconstruction to £931,034 7s 6d.
