Charged with being a rogue and a vagabond in that he was found by night without lawful excuse on enclosed premises, Frank Walfrid pleaded in the Police Court yesterday before Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., that ho was too drunk to remember anything. ' Ho was convicted, and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Three first offenders Tor drunkenness forfeited the amount of their bail, £1 each. For driving at other than a walking, pace across the intersection of Queen and Victoria Streets, David Axcliibaid, Henry Rushford, and Thomas Welpch were each fined.ss and costs. Similarly charged in respect of the intersection of Cook and Grey Streets; David Sparks was fined the same amount.
