Kit. Bernstein, of Cambridge, is on a visit to Auckland, lie arrived yesterday, and is staying at the Grand Hotel.
Messrs. V. H. Ileed, M.P. for Bay of ■ Islands, and A. Harris M.P. for Waitc- - ln.lta, returned to Wellington by last evening & express train.
Mr. A. T. Garlick ' las been presented with a silver salver by tho employees of tlio ionson Garlick Company, on tho occasion of his marriage.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Barnett, of Wellington, who have been on a trip to .Rotorua arrived in Auckland yesterday and are staying at tho Grand Hotel."
_ Me&srs. J. and 8. Hellaby and George Niccol, of Auckland, who went abroad on a holiday trip several weeks ago, are at present in England. According to a private cable message received yesterday, they have all joined King Edward's Horse (the King Oyersoas Dominions Regiment), one of the special reserve regiments.
