BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY,

TrcE sharomarket was quiet yesterday. In investment stocks, Bank of New Zealnnds (fully-paid) were on offer at £17 2s 6d, and buyers quoted £17. A salo of New Zealand Insurances was reported at £6 Bs. and more were obtained nt £6 109. Auckland Gas changed hands at 30s 3d, Noithern Steams (paid up) were placed at 14s 3d.

Wnihi mining shares were easy at 42s 9d, 42s 6d, and 425. Talismans sold at 325, and Waihi Grand Junctions brought ! 25s 9d. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE. Saturday's closing sales. £ 8. A.
