EDEN CLUB'S CARNIVAL.

CHAMPION IN 'FORM.

The Eden Swimming Club's second carnival was held in the Mount Eden baths on Wednesday night. Notwithstanding the smallness of the bath, there was a large attendance, and the carnival was a very successful one. The chief event on the programme was the 50yd3 Auckland championship, which was won easily by Champion, who also won the 100 yds inter-club handicap after a splendid race. During the evening an interesting exhibition of fancy and scientific swimming was given by Mr. D. B. Anderson. Following were the final results: — SOYds Novice Handicap.— Sheppard. 3s, started.
