OTAHUHU NEWS.
Tire Band Committee on Wednesday evening decided to hold a bazaar in aid of the band funds. Uniforms, new instruments, and a bnndroom are needed. Some time ago the band came under the control of the Borough Council, but the council is at present not in a position to render much financial help. The committee hopes that the public will generously respond to the appeal for help. It was mentioned at the meeting that there is a pro.-pect of ,i suitable building being obtained for a bandroom at very small cost.
