TUITION IN FARMING.
CAMP FOR PRACTICAL WORK.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Feixjding, Friday. On Monday, about 50 boys, who are taking the agricultural course in schools, will go into camp for a fortnight at Mr. £. Short's Almiidale stud farm. The boys are coming from Taihape, Hunterville, Marton, Wangajiui, and Feilding. Practical work will be done with heavy horses, Hereford cattle, Romney, Southdown, and Lincoln sheep, and lectures will be given with a view to popularising 'he pig industry. Mr. J. Grant, and Mr. 0. A. Banner (the Wanganui Education Board's agricultural instructors) will be in charge. The members of the Feilding Show Association have given a number of medals for competition at the camp.
