LOSSES BY FIRE.

TWO HOUSES BURNED. NO SUPPLY OF WATER. [BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Tuesday. Between five and six o'clock this morning fire broke out in a wash-house connected with a dwelling house of six rooms in KhandaQah, owned and occupied by Mr. Murray Thompson. The flames spread to the residence, which was soon destroyed. An adjoining house, of eight rooms, owned by Mr. Clive Sommerville, and occupied by Mr. W. F. Cuthbertson, afterwards took fire, and was reduced to ashes. There was no water supply, and a stiff north-wester was blowing. Some furniture from both houses was saved. I • PRINTING OFFICE ON FIRE.
