TRADE PICNIC.
The employees of Messrs. Tattersfield. Ltd., were entertained by Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tattersfield at Howick on Saturday, on the occasion of their second annual picnic. The weather was perfect, and bathing, boating, and sports contributed to a most enjoyable outing. Mr. Harry Brooke, in moving on behalf of the employees a vote of thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Tattersfield, said he wished also to thank the ladies who had so capably helped with the catering. Mr. Tattersfield, replying, expressed grat' fication at the increased number of employees, which indicated the progress made during the past 12 months, and he said it was sufficient thanks to Mrs. Tattersfield and himself to know they all had so much enjoyed themselves.
