Fiftt-one years ago the ships Devonshire and Gertrude dropped anchor in Auckland Harbour, both bringing a contingent of immigrants. Arrangements are on foot to celebrate the anniversary by a reunion of the surviving passenger" and the descendants of the passengers on February 7, and a meeting in connection with the matter will be herd in Mr W. Fallon's office. Union Buildings, on January 23. at 7.30 p.m.
