STERILISED MILK DANGER. CHILDREN AND PHTHISIS. By Telegraph—Press Association— London, December 30. Sterilised or condensed milk is dangerous to children, and definitely disposes them to tubercular infection. Healthy children received at creches and fed on sterilised milk had been made ill. These statements were made yesterday by Dr. Robert Mondscn, of the experimental farm at Sevenoa.ks (Kent), who has spent several years investigating the relationship between milk and tuberculosis.
Sir Almroth Wright, the famous specialist, agrees that too much is being made of the so-called exclusion of infection. He says it is impossible to exclude infection completely. People with well-nourished bodies possessed powers of resisting disease, and this was their best protection. \ ' . •
