YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS, The sharemarket was fairly busy yesterday. Bank of New Zealand stocks were in demand at £11, New Zealand Insurances at £5 12s, and National Banks at £5 6s. Auckland Gas changed hands at 27s 6d. A transaction in Union Steams (ord.) was effected at 23s 6d, and New Zealand Portland Cements at 12s 9d, In mining lines Waihis wore dono at Sis 6d and 51s 3d. Talismans were on offer at 425, and buyers quoted 40s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions sold at 24s 3d and 243 6d. Ross Goldflelds were dono at lis 5d and lis 4d, AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.
