CLERK TAKES HIS OWN LIFE
[BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Dcnbdin, Thursday. A clerk named Frederick Hayes, aged 23 years, recently married, shot himself fatally with a revolver this moraine at St. Kilda. b Evidence at the inquest showed that deceased had a sovero attack of influenza about four months ago, and sinco then had been very dopresscd. He left a long letter addressed to his wifo. It was of an affectionato nature, but did not throw any light on tho tragedy. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned.
