SHORT-LIVED DISPUTE.
By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright. Durban, December 10. The cngincdrivers in most of the Natal mines struck yesterday for increased pay and an eight-hour day. Two of the mines had to close down in consequence. To-day, however, they resumed work, having accepted the employers' offer of 18s a day.
