LAWN TENNIS.
-[FROM ottr own correspondent.] v PAPASURA, Thursday. The Wairoa., South Lawn Tennis Club and the Papakura Lawn Tennis Club teams met in the final play-off on the Brookby Lawn Tennis Club's lawns on Saturday for the Clevedon Lawn Tennis Association's Trophy. The result was an easy win to the Papakura team of 9 to 3. The Papakura team holds an unbeaten record for the season, and stands the premier club of the district, having won 11 out of 12 matches played, and the twelfth being a draw. The Papakura Valley (Alfriston) team was the only team to plav as near as a draw with the Papakura team The Clevedon Lawn Tennis Association clubs are eight in number— South, Brookby, Hunua, Clevedon, South End, Ramarama. Manurewa, Papakura Valley, and Papakura.
