STRIKE RIOTS IN CANADA
MAN FATALLY SHOT.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright (Received December 5, 10.5 p.m.) Ottawa, December 5. Serious rioting has occurred on the Porcupine goldfields. Detectives fired on a crowd of strikers and fatally injured a man. The strikers attacked a train carrying strike-breakers. Additional police have been despatched to the ( scene of the riots.
