By Telegraph.— .usociatton.— Cor.yrijht. (Received December 5, 10.5 p.m.) Ottawa, December 5. In the Canadian Senate Mr. G. VV. Boss, ex-Minister for Education, moved that the papers conveying the decision of the United States regarding Panama Canal rates be tabled. Canada, he said, ought to demand the same rights as the United States was according to her own coastal trade. He urged that the Government should immediately protest strongly against the action of the United States.
Mr. J. A. Lougheed, Minister representing the Government in the Senate, said the matter would be seriously considered by the Government.
