POSTMASTER'S BLUNDER.
MILITARY CALL TO ARMS.

By Telegraph.—Fress Association—Copyright! Paris, December 4. Brigadier Blion, the officer in charge of the Nancy military district, who mobilised his forces immediately after receipt of a wrongly transmitted order, has been complimented on his promptitude.
Owing to the postmaster's blunder, a telegram ordering an ordinary local mobilisation was interpreted as an order for a general mobilisation, for war purposes. Brigadier Blion, on feceiving the message at night, took - prompt steps to' carry out the supposed order, and before the error was discovered, {several thousand men had assembled to join the colours. The brigadier was at first arrested, but on it being discovered that the postmaster was in fault, the latter was suspended.
