A MESSINA MEDAL.
PRESENTED TO A NEW ZEALAND
STEWARD.
[BY telegraph.— ASSOCIATION.] Weluottok, Friday. The Messina medal forwarded' to the >few Zealand steward, C. S. Delvindale, by the Italian Government for his services on the steamer Mariner at the time of the great Messina earthquake in 1908, was publicly presented to Delvindale at the Missions to Seamen Institute at Wellington last night by His. Excellency the Governor (Lord Islington).
