TWO NEGATIVE FINDINGS. By Telegraph.—Frcss Association.—Copyright. Paris, October 29. Investigation proves that the lire on the battleship Justice was not due to a short circuit, nor was it traceable to the powder.
POWDER. HAD BEGUN TO IGNITE. (Received October 51, 12.5 a.m.) Paris, . October 30. The. magazine, of the .warship Justice, which was partially flooded as a result of fire on the vessel, con tained a shell showing signs of combustion. Several grains of powder had begun to ignite when the water reached the magazine.
