A MINISTERIAL SURVEY.
SfE John* Fd.ui.at, accompanied" by the Mayor of Auckland, drove over the Orakei Block yesterday afternoon, and made a comprehensive survey of the area which it is purposed to acquire for conversion into a model suburb. Mr. Parr went to Wellington by last night's train, and while there will see the Prime Minister in connection with the matter. Sir John Findlav declined to say anything about his visit last night, but will deal with the subject in the course of his address at Parnell this evening.
