DRAINAGE AND ELECTRICITY.
' [BT TELEGBAPJC.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.] ■Napier, Wednesday. A poll of ratepayers was taken to-day upon proposals to borrow £10,000 for the drainage of low-lying lands in the borough, and a further sum of £15,000 for the construction and installation of works for electric lighting and electric tramways. Both proposals were carried.
