ARCHHILL GULLY.
AN UNUSED SEWER.
The city engineer reported that, in consequence of/ complaints regarding the -state of the' Archil ill gully watercourse, he had inspected the site, and found it in a very bad state, as advantage had not been taken of the new sewer, which had been completed. The local authorities whose territory' drained into the gully should be ' circularised as to the cleaning, out of the gnlly, at a cost not to 'exceed £100, and to be divided among the "authorities on the usual basis. The Council's share "of the necessary expenditure (40 per cent.) was authorised.
