BRIEF VISIT TO AUCKLAND.

-' Wellington, Tuesday.
The Prime Minister (Sir Joseph Ward)
has received a number of requests to de-'. liver political addresses in different centres. On Thursday morning he will leave Wellington for the North, in order to keep several such engagements. Leaving by the 7.45 a.m. train,, he will reach Strat- ■■".■'■ ford .in time to speak in . the evening. ■ Friday will be spent in visiting Kaponga ' and Inglewood, New Plymouth' being reached in the evening. • Sir Joseph Ward will address a gathering there also, and the same night will leave by the steamer '.'for Onehunga. He will speak at Devon- •-,.; port, on Saturday night, Sunday and Mon- - _ day will, be spent in . Auckland, and .on Monday evening the Prime Minister will . attend the banquet to be given in , con- ; nection . with the mining ; engineers' con.ference. Altogether Sir Joseph -Ward will be away from Wellington for a little over a week.
