By Telegraph.—rrcss Association.—Copyright. (Received. December 30, 11 p.m.) London, December 50. Alarmist telegrams from Lisbon state that the army and navy are disaffected, and trade unionists bitterly opposed to the Government. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail reports that the British Minister at Lisbon has asked for the immediate despatch of a warship. He adds that the Government has arrested conspirators seeking to reestablish ex-King Manuel on the throne.
Lc Temp's, one of the leading Parisian papers, states that the Labour organisations in Lisbon are making, demands impossible of fulfilment. Numerous cases of insubordination have occurred in the army, and three cruisers have been sent from the Tagus on various pretexts. (Received December 30, 11.50 p.m.) Lisbon, December 30. The Government decree provides penalties for offences against the provisional Government, and those spreading false and alarming reports, also punishment for breaches of military discipline.
