DESECRATION OF GRAVES.
COFFINS BROKEN OPEN.

London, February 20 Sin William Lewis' mausoleum at Cefn, Methyr, was battered in last night, and a coffin containing Lady' Lev/is' remains was removed from a shelf to the floor.
The lid was broken open as if the desecrator hoped to find jewellery upon the body, but lost his nerve before completing the search, as nothing was taken.
A similar outrage on the grave of uhe late Colonel D. Lewis, at Cefn, occurred during the previous week.
