Reuter's Agency states that Dr. Cook/ whose claim to have reached the North Pole - has been rejected by the University of Denmark, and who , has disappeared from public view since, has been traced to Santiago, Chili, where he is living in retirement, but is writing the narrative of his journey to the Pole.
