I3y Telegraph.—Press Association. —Copyright. Paris, February 20. A chemist in Paris, named Parat, actuated by insane jealousy, imprisoned his wife in his business premises for two months.
The police found her seated on a chair, wearing an iron collar, chained and padlocked to a bed. Another chain was affixed to a wardrobe.
Parat, who has been arrested, declared that he adored his wife, and wished to keep her to himself.
