CAMBRIDGE. [FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The monthly meeting of the Cambridge Road Board was held at Cambridge on Saturday, Mr. Wm. Howell, chairman; presiding. Mr. Watt reported the bridge on the Fencourt back road, about which there had been complaints, to be perfectly safe for some time yet. It was resolved to have the bridge at Cowling's renewed, and the fences on the Narrows Road repaired, and the drains cleaned out. A deputation, consisting of eMssrs. A. McFarlane, Jamieson, Qualtrough, and Copeland, waited upon the Board re falling the trees on the sections where- they adjoin the Victoria and Zig-rag Roads. They pointed out that it would be a great hardship to them, as it would deprive their cattle of shade, and leave them exposed to the westerly winds. The matter was discussed at considerable length, and eventually the settlers agreed to fall the outer row of pines adjoining the roads, and the offer was accepted on condition that all trees fallen on the roads must be removed, and all trees considered dangerous must be topped or removed.
