THE RAILWAY WHARF.
QUESTION OF MAINTENANCE.. Mr. Bradney recently moved for a return of maintenance and extras spent on the Railway Wharf, outside of authorisations. The information supplied did not satisfy Mr. Bradney, who said the report had the appearance of being " cooked," and he could not get the information out of it he required. Mr. Bradney complained further that the whole business of the Board did not go through the secretary's office. Mr. : Hutchison suggested that instead of wasting the time of the Board, Mr. Bradney should get the engineer to explain the report to him. Mr. Bradney: You consider it is wasting time - when; the extras are something like i £13,000 in this, incomplete statement. The engineer (said the expenditure was authorised. . Mr. Bradney intimated his intention of giving another notice of motion to elicit the information he required.
