LOADING OF FROZEN MEAT.
BERTHS AT RAILWAY WHARF. As the outcome of correspondence from the secretary of the Farmers' Freezing Company, complaining of having to cart frozen meat to the Queen-street Wharf for export purposes, the harbourmaster was instructed, whenever possible, to give berths at the Railway Wharf for vessels loading' frozen meat. Mr. Gunson said the question was a most important one, because the whole interests of the frozen meat industry were wrapped up in it. The Chairman referred to the facilities provided at Wellington for the export ,of wool, meat, etc., and members agreed that this was a matter that would have to be considered by. the Auckland Board.
